Evaluation of Key Skills- Magazines
Lastly, I have learnt about magazines. The editors of the magazines do everything deliberately. Even the smallest of details on a page was planned carefully and intelligently. The masthead of the magazine itself is usually at the top of the front cover, to ensure people can find it, even if it is at the back of the shelf in a shop, stacked behind others. The masthead is usually bold, to also ensure the audience can locate it in a store. The photography used on the cover is always relevant to the genre of the magazine and will usually include a well-known person, to ensure people become intrigued by it. If the front cover features someone who the audience is particularly interested in, they may buy it out of habit, rather than the magazine they would usually go for. The model usually promotes the magazine itself. Especially if they are popular.
